All, CYL picture day is next Saturday, May 12th. Pictures will be taken in the baseball field just north of the multi-purpose room. If it rains, pictures will be taken in the multi-purpose room of the elementary school. A schedule outlining picture times will be forwarded early next week. Regarding CYL field cleanup day, it was a huge success. We had a total of over 70 volunteers working three different fields! And, as a result, the fields have never looked better. Thanks to all for helping out! On the same day the softball teams ran a bake sale, bottle drive and sold raffle tickets. Their efforts brought in over $700 in a little less than 5 hours work. Thanks to the girls and all who donated baked goods and bottles. And, we had a terrific donation this year. At their birthday party, Liam Bowden and Trey Smith asked for donations to CYL baseball. They boys collected and donated $315! The monies will be used to purchase age-appropriate equipment to directly benefit Rookies/Minors level baseball players. Thanks to Liam and Trey and their friends and families for the donation. The CYL Board thanks everyone for your efforts to date.
